Blanket Distribution in the Slums
Each winter ACT volunteers conduct the Blanket Distribution Seva along with Annadaan (food donation) for the poor and destitute people in the slums of New Delhi. Priority is given to the abandoned elderly people, many of whom freeze to death during the harsh winter. More than a blanket, it is the very ACT OF LOVE that brings the warmth to their hearts, a silent recognition through loving action that yes, there is someone out there who cares..
